Review of BSTOL CLUB and BSTOL GEM. Single-units with TYPE-C

In this review, I’ll talk about BSTOL’s “innovative” single-use devices that are almost close to pods – they can be charged via Type-C.

Chinese company BSTOL is a typical representative of OEM/ODM manufacturer. I.e. engineers and workers can produce at their facilities even the devil, engrave your trademark or fully brand the product for you. online vape shop canada Naturally, all this is at your expense. Only four devices were sent to me for acquaintance (two of one kind and two of another), so the main emphasis will be on the technical part, and the taste test will take place on the residual principle.

BSTOL packaging

The first thing that attracts you to BSTOL products is the packaging. Forget about cardboard boxes and disposable bags. A plastic tube is what will show the product in all its glory. Well, and a small label at the bottom, which focuses on all the necessary information, including the QR code of authentication.

BSTOL. Design

The appearance of BSTOL disposables is quite interesting and not at all round. Though if you think that somewhere you’ve already seen similarly shaped disposables – you don’t think so, really. We’ve already seen similar ones, but it’s easy to explain: the cases were ordered at a third-party factory and most likely they will be used to produce quite a lot of devices from different manufacturers. In any case, the designers forgot the usual round shapes and started to look towards non-standard ones: one case is almost square, and the second one is octagonal and unequal-sided. Both have a plastic flat mouthpiece on top, and a plug at the bottom, under which hides a board with a noise sensor and controller, as well as a Type-C port for charging a relatively small battery. The body is made of lightweight aluminum alloy and covered with a pleasant to the touch paint, with a soft-touch effect. The device turns on at the moment of puffing, and the LED lights up at the bottom. From the decorations there is only silkscreened logo of the manufacturer and the name of the poured flavor.

BSTOL single-use vaporizer review – charging socket

A large volume of liquid and a small battery require the possibility of recharging – and it is here, and it is almost in the most progressive format – Type-C.

Yes, it’s not QC yet, but your device will be fully charged in a couple of hours anyway, and those who are particularly impatient can vaporize in pastru mode, i.e. right during charging. The only thing that is objectively lacking here is the possibility of working in the pervobank mode. And it would be cool to charge your cell phone from the vape.

BSTOL. Flavor testing

In total, the manufacturer offers nine different flavor combinations at the initial stage. Four will be described below, and of the remaining five I only know the names: Mint Ice, Sour Apple Ice, Blue Razz Ice, Pina Colada Ice and Coffee Tobacco.

Inside each disposable is a rechargeable battery containing a chemically active alkaline metal called lithium. Such batteries should not be disposed of with household waste, but should be recycled or disposed of in a special recycling or disposal facility.

BSTOL GEM – Strawberry Watermelon Ice

Before you start vaping you get a juicy and fresh watermelon flavor, with roughly equal tones of flesh and crust, and there will be light notes of strawberry in the background. The flavor on the inhale is slightly cool, watermelon-juicy and strawberry-sweet. Deep puff almost does not change the sensations, but during the exhale the watermelon part becomes slightly oily, starts to give off pips and even reveals bitterness in the cool aftertaste.

BSTOL GEM – Mango Ice

The mango flavor is there, not the most natural, more like jam than a live fruit. The flavor on the inhale is decently cold, which is just fine for mango. Deep puff reveals adequate coldness in the lungs and honey sourness. The sensation on the exhale, in my opinion, is the most correct, with a resinous tinge and a slight crust flavor. The aftertaste is simply sweet and noticeably “peppery”, with a tingling of the mucous membranes and a simultaneous cold sensation in the mouth.

BSTOL CLUB – Mixed Berries

The smell of berries is clear, but it’s quite difficult to make out the components, there are definitely blueberries and strawberries, maybe raspberries, and something else. The flavor on the inhale is just cold, berry and not clear. A deep puff doesn’t bring clarity either – it’s just delicious. But during the exhalation suddenly appears a piquant sourness and the mix becomes similar in taste to cold berry morsels, which is not badly invigorating and does not clog the receptors with unnecessary sweetness.

BSTOL Club – Grape Ice

The aroma of dark Isabella grapes can be recognized probably even from another room. Thick, tart, slightly sour and oily at the same time. The flavor is exactly as you would expect – the usual cold grapes. There’s just nothing more for me to add here.

BSTOL. Personal impressions

A large amount of liquid in a disposable e-cigarette (and, as a consequence, just a huge number of possible puffs) can serve as an incentive when choosing a device. And the ability to recharge the device with the same wire as your cell phone is definitely a plus. I will also speak positively about the puffing force, here it is quite decent, not pure MTL yet, but already somewhere near. But for a rather high price tag and standard flavors – I’ll be sorry.
