The mouthpiece of the disposable is wide and flattened, a bit thick in my opinion, but it doesn’t cause discomfort during use. There is a grooved silicone tube sticking out of the vapor line, the bottom part is covered by a vinyl sticker with the OPEN message.

To start using ZBAR S, you need to remove the sticker from the bottom part and take out the black tube from the vaporizer. Since the cartridge body is transparent, you can easily see what happens when you do this: the outer part of the vaporizer lifts up and opens the liquid supply to the coil. Since the coil wick is dry before this, the manufacturer recommends waiting at least five minutes before using it for the first time.

The diameter of the vapor line is about 3 mm, for a device with a cigarette puff this is a pretty decent size, but the device does not snot and spit when used, even after lying on its side for a long time. It may “gurgle” a bit, but this is a sin of many disposables with a similar design. At the bottom there is a micro USB connector, which, according to my measurements, supports charging with 5V current and only 0.37A.

Charge even a small battery of 800 mAh will take a long time, so the pastr support, which is in the board, is not superfluous at all. The only indicator is located on the wide side of the device, lights up in one color – white, and only when puffing. If the device is discharged – it flashes ten times and the electronics are turned off. In the process of charging is constantly lit, after the end goes out.

It so happened that one device fell into disrepair, so it was not a pity to disassemble it. It turned out that it was enough to first loosen a little, and then pull the cartridge upwards to pull out all the stuffing. The battery labeling and date of manufacture (3.7V, 2.96Wh, 20211018) are perfectly visible in the photo, as well as the mesh used as the winding.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Lemon Ice (Lemon Ice)

The lemon flavor from the disposable is more like candy on one hand and candied candied fruit on the other, overall it smells nice but still more confectionery than natural. In the pairing it is also more like a lemon candy, exactly as on first impression, only the coldness is not menthol, but neutral, as in the same caramels, and the sourness is more imagined than actually felt. In general, such a good standard-zucate lemon without special frills, but also without chemical sharpness.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Blueberry Mojito.

Already judging by the aroma you realize that it will be a rather strange combination: lime, mint and blueberry? Well, let’s give it a try. On the inhale, berries are waiting, sweet, resembling sweet balls, covered with sugar coating and turning on the exhale into mint-citrus crust, which is felt on the aftertaste. Quite unusual, but at the same time I can’t even unequivocally say whether it tasted good or not. Personally, I was put off by the absolutely unnecessary bitterness, which sometimes phantomly appears after a puff. Let’s just say that it’s for the amateur, but someone will taste it and appreciate it.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Mango Ice (Ice Mango)

The smell is pleasant, almost without “kitties”, and reminds rather of greenish and tart skin of the fruit than sweet and overripe flesh. Sugariness is already manifested in the puff, but it is not so luscious as in the previous mix, and therefore it is quite organically complemented by coldness and slightly spruce tinge on the exhale and in the aftertaste. Moreover, the cooler doesn’t seem to ice my throat (or am I already so used to it in one-offs?), but it “freezes my brain” noticeably, and after a few puffs I have to put the device aside. In my opinion, the coolest flavor, where everything is just right: both fruit, and cold, and moderate sweetness.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Raspberry Watermelon.

Another combination that I haven’t come across before. The e-liquid smells quite pleasantly of fresh watermelon, without the sweetness or bitterness of the rinds, and on first impressions it’s very nice. But in the puff all this suddenly “grows” sweet-sour tart berry, perfectly felt on the inhale and in the aftertaste, and from the watermelon pulp remains only a faint aromatic exhale. Hmm, quite unusual, can be described as a watermelon-mint lollipop, noticeably sour immediately on the inhale and with a slight chill on the throat after the exhale.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Cola Ice (Ice Cola)

From the box the smell is more reminiscent of a mixture of licorice and lemon zest than the famous drink, but this impression is made by almost all liquids with cola flavor. Steam tastes more like soda, although it’s hard to get rid of the initial impression. Especially for a person who jams this very “cola” with liters every day. The flavor turned out to be not worse than other analogues, and, of course, though it can’t repeat the real taste of the drink, but it can quite pass for it: there is lime, vanilla-caramel sweetness, and even a decent, but not “killing” portion of cold on the throat after a puff.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Strawberry Watermelon Bubble Gum 

The second watermelon flavor in the lineup, and it smells from the single-serve bag not of fresh pulp, but of sweet watermelon candy. As in the case of Raspberry Watermelon, the berry appears immediately on the inhale, but already without acid, just sweet, almost candied and even reminiscent not so much of bubblegum as of strawberry marshmallow. And although the “starch” flavor with a dry aftertaste is beautifully conveyed here, to be honest, I liked this mix much less than with raspberry. It seems that it is the “bubblegum” that is overdone here. But I don’t exclude that you will like this mix much more.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Strawberry Banana Ice (Strawberry Banana Ice)

It’s hard to imagine a more old and “classic” combination, which is as old as vaping itself. Only with the only amendment – here it is with a decent portion of cold. However, the cooler is felt not so much in the puff as after the exhale, and in the pairing it is a little dry, a little tart and therefore tastes almost dried banana, which is slightly complemented by red berry in the exhale. The mix is without much revelation: simple, sweet, cool and, yes, delicious.

Zovoo ZBAR S – Pineapple Ice.

Sour, without cheesiness or caramel sweetness, almost fresh pineapple – that’s all you can feel from the box with the device. But in a puff, the flavor is much more intense and, at first, rather resembles pineapple syrup or molasses, with a noticeable sourness and the same intense sweetness right on the inhale, which spreads with a pineapple-citrus lollipop on the tongue in the aftertaste and leaves the throat cold after the exhale. Sweet pineapple, with a decent portion of sugar and ice, but still quite tasty.

Impressions

In general, both the device format and the flavors offered by ZBAR S deserve not only the right to exist, but also our attention. Yes, there are mixes here, as they say, “for the amateur”, but not in the sense that it is impossible to vaporize them, but only in the sense that you have to love it. I have long been accustomed to the fact that many of my favorite liquids absolutely do not excite others. As there are some combinations, highly appreciated by acquaintances, but personally I am completely indifferent. Therefore, my “top” of three flavors Ice Mango, Raspberry with Watermelon and Ice Cola is primarily based on my own preferences. Regarding the format of the device, I can note that the disposable is convenient and easy to use, the first launch (remove the sticker and pull the “check”) does not present any difficulties, although there are better solutions. Here the battery capacity is quite decent, so that a day or two do not think about recharging even with active use, although the micro USB connector and too low charging current of only 0.4 A is clearly not enough. But to be picky about such nuances in one-time use – overkill.
