Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit is a medium sized sub-mod that runs on 21700/18650 replaceable battery running GENE.FAN 2.0 chipset and equipped with TPP Tank cartridge for TPP series vaporizers. Externally the new sub-mod looks like its predecessor the same body, rounded on one side and with a display on the other. It uses GENE.FAN 2.0 updated more stable chipset, thanks to which you can get more voltage per coil. The sub-mod comes with a new TPP cartridge, which is even more convenient to use, and the cartridge base is compatible with any PnP Pod. You can buy Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit in five versions classic, smoky grey, marsala, Prussian blue and sandy brown.

Drag X Plus Professional Edition Mod Battery Pack

When Voopoo unveiled its first Vinci sub-mod, vapers got excited. When the entire Vinci series was released, vapers were ecstatic. And when the company presented Drag X and Drag S, and then Drag X Plus, vapers (especially Voopoo fans) jumped for joy and opened champagne saved for the New Year. It would seem that something more interesting than Drag X Plus was hard to come up with, but the imagination of the company’s developers has no limits, and the Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit saw the light.

If a vaper expects something new in the design of Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit, he will be disappointed, because it looks the same as its predecessor, and even on the body there is no indication that it is a Professional Edition. So the vaper will find the same small box mod with rounded one side and flat other, made of zinc alloy with eco leather inserts. Dimensions of the device has not changed 88.5 * 34.5 * 28 mm, so it is not difficult to install any atomizer with a diameter up to 26 mm with 510 mm connector.

Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit still runs on a single 21700/18650 battery (via a special adapter purchased separately), which is installed under the hinged lid from the bottom. If necessary, you can charge the battery using the USB Type-C connector, located under the control buttons, with 2A current.

The main change that affected Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit is an updated version of the already well-known vaper chipset GENE.FAN 2.0. Immediately we should warn vapers that you should not expect absolutely cardinal changes, because the chipset was just a little bit refined and updated. Updates primarily affected the stability of the chip and the speed of ignition of the coil, and now the maximum voltage that can be fed to the coil, increased to 8.5 volts. The functionality of the device remained the same Smart Mode and RBA Mode.

Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit display is color, 0.96 inches diagonal and informative on it the vaper can find all the necessary information about the device battery level, power, mode, coil resistance, voltage, time and number of puffs.

Voopoo TPP 2.0 Pod Tank Atomizer

The manufacturer claims that the new device comes with an updated Voopoo TPP 2.0 Pod Tank atomizer, but it is almost impossible to notice the changes. Therefore, the vaper expects a practical tank, with 510-m connector, 810-m drip tip and removable plastic flask, held by magnets.

For this atomizer there are only two types of vaporizers TPP-DM1 Coil Head 0.15 “Omega; and TPP-DM2 Coil Head 0.2 “Omega; (both are available in the kit), but knowing Voopoo company, we can expect more in the nearest future. Blowoff adjustment is made with a swivel ring at the base of the tank.” To refill the tank, you need to remove the plastic reservoir from the metal base, flip it over, open the small silicone plug and pour in 5.5 ml of liquid.

Conclusions and impressions

To be honest, the Voopoo Drag X Plus Professional Edition kit was a bit disappointing, because when you see the name Professional Edition, you immediately expect something special, something that will distinguish your device from others in the same series. In fact, the vaper gets a Voopoo Drag X Plus, but more stable and with the ability to raise the operating voltage to 8.5 volts. But do not get upset, the device is decent, productive, versatile and autonomous.
