Review of Koopor Mini KP60TC

The Koopor company cannot boast of a rich model range, it has only two products in its portfolio, both battery units with temperature control. This is the presented Koopor Mini at 60W and the large Koopor Plus, very similar to its younger brother, but with two 18650 batteries and with a declared power of up to 200W.

Appearance, controls and technical characteristics

The Koopor Mini box mod is made of stainless steel and zinc alloy, which you immediately feel when you take the device in your hand. On the manufacturer’s website, the weight of the mod is indicated as 120g, in fact, without a battery it weighs almost 170g. canada vape shop Quite a weighty block, I must say. On the front surface of the box mod is the KOOPOR company logo and an intricate pattern reminiscent of printed circuit board tracks, quite nice, in my opinion.

With resistance below 0.2 Ohm, the maximum current is over 15A

Support for Ni200 and Ti in temperature control mode

The control panel consists of the Fire, + and – buttons (or, as the manufacturer signed, “up” and “down”) and a small screen.

At the top there is a 510 connector, the thread is made of stainless steel, the positive contact is made of brass and spring-loaded, its stroke is quite large. The connector rises above the case by 0.3-0.4 mm, which prevents the atomizer from scratching the case. Below there is a Micro USB with a warning inscription “Not in charging. Only upgrade”. A curious location of the service connector, which remains open even in the complete protective case. There are also holes for ventilation of the box.

The battery compartment of the Koopor Mini is covered with a lid on the entire side surface with the inscriptions “MINI” and “OPEN” with an arrow indicating where to move the lid itself. The surface between the inscriptions is covered with ventilation holes, designed, according to the manufacturer, to extend the service life of the mod’s electronics. Together with the lower ones, they form a ventilation system.

The Koopor Mini screen is small, but quite informative. In the variwatt mode, the set power, supplied voltage (not calculated automatically), atomizer resistance and “lock” – button lock indication are displayed. During mod operation, the supplied voltage value appears, and the power value changes to a cutoff stopwatch (12 seconds). In the temperature control mode, the set temperature, atomizer resistance and TC operating mode (“soft” – up to 40W, “normal” – up to 50W, “hard” – up to 60W) are displayed on the screen.

Pros:

Appearance;

Good functionality;

A fairly honest board;

Good coating.

Cons:

Protruding atomizers;

Poor assembly: rattling buttons, loose lid;

Heavy weight;

Strong heating during operation;

Delay when pressing “Fire”;

No charger, the presence of an external service connector in its place.
