Olympus TFS Tank
There is no point in dwelling on the tank, but it is still necessary to mention an interesting point. The recommended price for this clearomizer on the Vanguard website is indicated at $ 35. If you compare the cost with the ancestor of such tanks, Aspire Atlantis, then the price is slightly lower, but our subject has an advantage in the form of top filling. It is implemented in a very interesting way: there is a notch on the lid, by sliding which you simply open two holes. One oval, large enough, for filling, and the second, only 1 mm wide for air outlet. The system works without problems, it is quite convenient to fill, nothing leaks in the closed position thanks to the sealing rings. The version with the upper platform of green color is shown on the website, in my set it is blue.
Cavalry VTC80W
Here we have got to the most interesting part – the Cavalry VTC80W or Vanguard VTC80W mod. The mod is available in two colors: steel and black, we have a silver device for review. The mod itself is a rectangular box with beveled and rounded corners. The upper and lower platforms are smooth matte aluminum covers, the entire case is rough aluminum, narrow stripes on the front and back ends are steel plates “for milling”. Height 82.2 mm (85 mm taking into account the adjustment wheel), width 51 mm, thickness 24.5 mm (26.5 mm). On one of the side faces there is a “fire” button. The rectangular metal button 12*8.5 mm is made and designed as an upper and lower platform from rough aluminum. The press is soft and very pleasant. It is convenient to press the slightly convex button with both the thumb and the index or middle finger. The stroke is small, with a dull click.
Pros:
Good battery
High power
Good ergonomics
Metal case
Cons:
Poor assembly
Inoperative temperature control mode
Ill-conceived locking system of the adjustment wheel
Glitchy electronics
Non-standard drip tip
Power change step of 1W
