Voopoo has recently released a sub-ohm maintenance-free atomizer, and it would seem that nothing was in trouble, but the guys were so serious about it that they even patented some of the technologies used in the development of this tank. Meet MAAT Tank.

MAAT Tank is a medium sized tank that uses two types of interchangeable vaporizers. One of the vaporizers is designed more for flavor delivery, the second is for the amount of vapor. But the most interesting thing here is the quick change of vaporizers, the system against vaporizer burnout and the dual blowing system. The last two features are patented by the guys from Voopoo.

Design

The design of the device is quite ambiguous. You can not say at once if it looks good or not. Everyone, I think, will decide for himself. So we can say that it is simply normal. The number of colors is quite unusually small, which is quite strange for the company Voopoo MAAT, as usually in their arsenal of a bit more color variety. Of the three options offered I would single out one iridescent color from green to pink, it looks the most interesting and, if I’m not mistaken, I haven’t seen such a rainbow color combination yet.

About the complete set not much to say. It’s not bad and has absolutely everything you may need at first time, especially if you are careful. Both variants of the maintenance free vaporizers allow you to figure out for yourself which one will suit you better, which is definitely a plus.

Let’s start with the simplest and go in order. The filling of the atomizer is top-open and does not cause absolutely any problems. For a long time this cap became the standard of convenience and practicality for most users. The hole is big enough for refilling from any bottle or even a pipette.

The first innovation is the dome. Such system allows you to change the vaporizer even if the tank is full. Here everything is clear and clear and definitely goes to the advantage of the tank. Maybe you will never experience the beauty of this feature, but it is much worse, if you suddenly have to replace a burned vaporizer and the tank has no possibility to change it quickly. You are covered in liquid, your day is ruined, every vaper has faced such a situation at least once, so such a solution will certainly not be superfluous.

The second innovation of the tank completely contradicts what I wrote above. How so, you ask? The point is in a smart liquid supply and the presence of a secret system against coil burnout. It is so much secret that the manufacturer has decided absolutely nothing to tell about it, so I can not tell you exactly how it works. But we all definitely know that if the liquid in the tank is empty and you start to vaporize, after coughing you will go to Morepara for a new vaporizer 🙂

Lastly, point three. In addition to the usual for most external blow control the tank has another system called Middle adjustable airflow design. As far as I understood its meaning lies in more uniform distribution of air into the vaporizer from which you get brighter and richer taste according to the developer.

Conclusions and impressions

“The only thing I was not satisfied with was the small number of colors, it’s not natural for Voopoo, considering their other lines like Drag. Otherwise the atomizer is absolutely no complaints and has several unique technical solutions, which are designed to improve your vaping experience. But nevertheless the question of how the system works against vaporizer burnout remains open. I would also like to see more vaporizers.
